A downloadable game

This is my first demo after 11 months. Probably should have come out with something earlier but I wanted to make a good representation.  I would love to hear any feed back about game play, graphics, balancing, controls any really or bugs especially in battle. I want to make this a viable creature collector.  This demo might take a few hours to play.

I have partial controller support (right now just PS4 Controller).

Things I haven't fixed yet.

*settings don't quite work yet!

*switch in and out particles

I like the mortality and quirkiness of it and how it builds a narrative around a Nuzlocke type of game. The corpse market really caught me off guard in an amusing way. The game loop is solid and I was impressed when the battle system handled a lot of things happening at the same time.

It can be really slow to grind up a new datchi when one dies.

I wish I could see descriptions of the moves when looking at a datchi's info.

The music slider didn't seem to work.

Ran into an issue where the walking NPCs would clip into the player and prevented movement, causing me to restart.

I ran into an issue where I couldn't use items from the datchirola menu at one point, forcing me to enter battle with weakened datchis.

It's a little annoying that items aren't used immediately; my datchi got hit before I could heal it which killed it only before I knew that items get used late.

It feels really slow to get around because there's lot of open space. I feel like areas could be condensed a little bit.

I like that defeating a datchi and selling it gives you enough money to buy a healium to heal after the fight.

I get a Lisa or Earthbound vibe from it, and I think its got something interesting there.

It's a fun little demo, I hope you keep working on it.

First I want to say, I really appreciate you taking the time to not only try and play the game but to give me feedback. Feedback like this is really invaluable! I plan to keep working on it and finish it. But I have been taking some time to work on another project while hopefully getting feedback on this one. Thank you so much, I will put these on the lists for improvements! Thanks again!
